Reverend Dr. Robert E. Grossmann is the
pastor of Providence Reformed Church.
He received a B.A. in Philosophy from the University of California, Berkeley,
a B.D. from Westminster Theological Seminary, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, an STM
and DD from Whitefield Theological Seminary, Winter Garden, Florida and a PhD
from Reformed International Theological Seminary, Fellsmere, Florida.
He has
been Associate Professor of Church History and Ministerial Studies at
Mid-America Reformed Seminary, Orange City, Iowa, Visiting Professor of Church
History at Whitefield Theological Seminary, Winter Garden, Florida, and
Associate Professor of Practical Theology for Reformation Extension Seminary,
Fellsmere, Florida.
He has served the Reformed Church in the United States as a
Church planter of Hope Reformed Church, Pierre, South Dakota, Northland Reformed
Church, Kansas City, Missouri, and currently Providence Reformed Church,
Vermillion, South Dakota. He has been pastor of the Odessa Yoked Charge at
Herreid and Artas, South Dakota, Grace Reformed Church, Mitchell, South Dakota,
Peace Reformed Church, Garner, Iowa and was co-founder of the Free Reformed
Church of Kenya. He has also served as President of the Covenant East Classis ,
RCUS and Vice President of the Synod of the Reformed Church in the United
States.
He has published several books with Elector
Publications. He was co-editor of You Shall Be My People, published by the Synod of the
Reformed Church in the United States. His published articles include “The
Sabbath of Hebrews 4:9,” “The Calvinist Ground of True Evangelism,” “The
Light He Called Day,” and numerous Book Reviews. He has also published over
150 articles in several magazines.
