What We Believe We teach salvation from sin only by faith in Jesus Christ, the infallibility of God's word in the Bible, and the Ten Commandments as the standard for the Christian life. We hold to the Apostle's Creed, the historic confession of the early church. The Apostle's Creed is included below. We recognize that the system of doctrine contained in the scriptures is also confessed in the Three Forms of Unity (the Belgic Confession, the Heidelberg Catechism, and the Canons of Dordt). These three doctrinal statements, borne of the Protestant Reformation, define what it means to be "reformed"
Government We are Presbyterian in church government, believing that Elders are called by God to lead His Church through councils of equals. The consistory consists of the following men: Rev. And in Jesus Christ, His only begotten Son, our Lord; Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead and buried; He descended into hell; the third day He arose from the dead; He ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of God the Father almighty, from there He shall come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen
